Is Today the First Day of the Rest of Your LIfe?
Until we can move forward in a new way, we are entangled in the webs of the past.
Often these webs are unseen, yet felt in the ways we are trapped and unable to do something differently than we would like to be able to.
Would you like to have a great job or career, move into your life's purpose, enjoy what you have and what you are doing, dress differently, have a great partner, for example, and are just not quite making it, or not able, somehow to do this?
Come and find out how this can be done. Check out the 3 dimensional family mapping process of the Family Constellation Approach.
Here in St. Louis Missouri, on the first Friday mornings of the month, and the 3rd Monday evenings of the month, we explore how to break the cycles that inhibit us.
The next opportunity is Friday morning, april 3rd at First Congregational Church, UCC, 6501 Wydown Blvd., St. Louis, Mo. 63105
I am also available for phone consultations, and for workshops.

The Healing Power of What Is
Today I had the opportunity to work with a bunch of young men in trouble. Most were filled with anger, resentment and shame. One such man was very brave. He came fact to face with a father who left him and the family when he was an infant. He was able to see him in a bigger light, and the shame and guilt his father felt at the death of a child born be fore him. HIs father couldn't face his guilt, and so had to leave the family, taking with him his oldest son. So this young man lost 2 brothers and a father at the same time. He looked at his dad with anger and longing, and was able to see him for the first time in a long time. And he could accept his father for who he was, and to accept what happened as true. And there he stood, unable to move any further.
Some might say that isn't enough. He was unable to have his father walk up to him and take him in his arms. But the bravery in just facing that man and seeing him was great.
Often seeing what is and accepting it is good enough! It opens us to the next movement instead of being locked into the past.
Opportunities for Constellations, a dimensional family mapping process:

Coming Out of the Shadows of Unconsciousness
Good Morning,
It is another cold, yet beautiful, sunny day out this winter. Soon it will be Groundhog's day, and we all wish he won't see his shadow, for seeing his shadow means 6 more weeks of winter.
Yet, this is the time of year that is darker and colder, and a great time for reflection. We aren't all too active and busy, and have some time to take, if we choose, to reflect on ourselves, our lives, our consciences, etc. This work, the Family Constellation Work allows us a venue to see our shadows, and not to eradicate them, but to integrate them in a new way into our consciousness. We also learn to discern which conscience is truly ours, and which might be our parents, our family's, and maybe something even greater.
Come on out, and this next Friday, the 6th at 9:00 a.m., we have an opportunity to learn about this and to see our shadows a bit more clearly. The Morning coffee and constellations is at: First Congregational Church UCC, 6501 Wydown Blvd.
With good care,
Gail

re-coding our emotional inheritance through family mapping
Today's family mapping experience went very well.
Many times this work helps lead us back to our parents where deep healing can occur.
Try the experience of closing your eyes and emptying your mind of all images of your parents as you have known them, and then doing the same for yourself; emptying your mind of all images you have as yourself as you have known yourself.
Next, allow one image to surface. Don't work for it, just let it emerge.
Let this image be one inwhich you see your parents in a way which makes all of you bigger.
It is a powerful meditation. Then, sit with it for awhile and let it percolate within you.
Our next family mapping experience is on Monday, January 19th at 8:00 p.m. and the Center for Mind Body and Spirit. Join us for our last outing at that location:7647 Delmar Blvd. 63130.
Further evenings will be at the First Congregational Church UCC, 6501 Wydown Blvd., 63105!
Have a wonderful day!

New Year, New Opportunities for Working Differently
January of 2009 is almost upon us. Are you thinking of what your new year's resolution would be?
As you do some inner reflection, remember not to throw out the baby with the bath water, so to speak.
True healing involves accepting what is, first, as an important reference of being. Then, taking stock of what you have, who you are, where you come from, allows you to move forward in a new way.
We are intimately connected to the people whose lives and histories have become invisible to us; our families.
This Friday, January 9th at 9:00 a.m., come out to my home: 38 Queensbrook Pl, St. Louis, MO. 63132, for an hour and a half of Constellations, based on Bert Hellinger's Family Constellations.
Cost is only 25.00 per person. Bring a friend or family member, and learn and heal.
